FAQS

After you submit a contact form, I’ll reach out to schedule a phone consultation so we can get to know each other a bit more. This gives us time to talk through what kind of support you’re looking for, answer any questions you may have, and make sure taylored doula co feels like the right fit for your family.
If you decide you’d like to move forward after our call, I’ll send over a questionnaire and service contract. The questionnaire helps me better understand your family, your hopes for support, and any specific needs you may have as you prepare for postpartum or settle into life after birth.
Once everything is completed, we’ll be able to move forward with care that feels thoughtful, supportive, and aligned with what your family needs most.

Postpartum support hours are designed to be used within the first 12 weeks after baby’s arrival, when families often need the most hands-on care, rest, reassurance, and support. Scheduling is based on availability and family needs, with daytime care typically scheduled in 3–4 hour shifts.
Requests to use hours beyond the 12-week window may be considered on a case-by-case basis and are subject to availability.

I understand that life with pregnancy, birth, and newborns can be unpredictable. My goal is always to be flexible and understanding, while also honoring the time that has been set aside specifically for your family.
All postpartum support packages are paid in advance and are non-refundable.
Scheduled shifts may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice, based on availability. I will do my best to find another time that works for your family within your package scheduling window.
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be subject to a $100 late cancellation fee.
This fee helps honor the time reserved on my calendar, as last-minute changes often cannot be filled by another family.
If there is illness, an emergency, or an unexpected birth/postpartum circumstance, please communicate with me as soon as possible. I will always do my best to handle these situations with care and reason.
My heart is never to make this season feel harder. This policy simply helps protect the time, planning, and care reserved for each family I support.
